Evaluation

Your care begins with a thorough evaluation by a licensed Doctor of Occupational Therapy. Rather than focusing on a single body part, CAYA takes a full-body approach to assess movement patterns, imbalances, and factors contributing to pain.

Evaluation:

Dry needling targets trigger points deep within the muscle to reduce pain, relieve tension, and improve movement. This popular, evidence-based technique uses fine needles to stimulate a twitch response, an involuntary contraction and release of muscle fibers that promotes natural healing. It’s highly effective for addressing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, stiffness, and mobility limitations.

Dry Needling:

Hands-on treatment that may include joint mobilization, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue techniques, and stretching to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.

Manual Therapy:

We use specialized instruments to improve soft tissue mobility, often called “scraping,” to reduce scar tissue, adhesions, and restrictions to improve blood flow and speed up healing.

Scraping:

Reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery through negative pressure created by pump or fire cups. It’s a gentle but effective tool for promoting relaxation and mobility.

Cupping:

Personalized exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance, posture, and movement for everyday life.

Corrective Exercise & Functional Training:

Complete a 16-test movement screen assessing mobility, stability, balance, and strength to identify physical limitations that may affect your golf swing, contribute to pain or injury, or limit performance.

TPI Golf  Performance Assessment:

Starting with a thorough assessment, we relieve pain, restore mobility, and rebuild function with targeted treatments – so you can get back to doing what you love.
